Nintendo Releases Update for Splatoon 3
Nintendo has released its latest update for Splatoon 3, bringing the Switch title up to Version 8.0.0.
This update includes various changes to the game, such as ‘season and catalog’ updates, multiplayer enhancements, Splatfest adjustments, Salmon Run tweaks, and bug fixes across all modes.

Season and Catalog Changes
- On June 1, 2024, Sizzle Season 2024 data will be added to the game, featuring a new catalog with gear, titles, banners, decorations, stickers, and emotes.
- Introduction of a new battle stage: Lemuria Hub.
- Addition of 2 new main weapons and 2 variant sets with different sub and special weapons, along with 6 sets of existing main weapons paired with different subs and specials.
- Inclusion of 14 new Tableturf Battle cards.
Changes to Multiplayer
- Added 2 new songs that will play during battles starting from Fresh Season 2024.
- Introduced new main weapons available in shops at the start of Sizzle Season 2024.
