Enhancements to Tournament Management
Over the past month, a series of updates have been rolled out to enhance the management of tournaments. These updates include the introduction of PayPal registration payment, tournament information translation capabilities, a revamped registration management interface, the addition of new games, and more.
Streamlined Registration Process
Our team has been hard at work improving the registration validation process to make it easier and quicker. The registration management interface now displays information in a more organized manner, including the paid registration status of participants.
Additionally, a participant’s complete registration information can now be viewed without navigating away from the page, allowing for quicker validation of participation.
The registration list filter options have also been enhanced for improved display and functionality.
Language Translation for Tournament Information
In exciting news for international competitions, tournament information fields can now be translated into different languages on Toornament.
Users can access the “Settings > Languages” section to add and configure new languages, specifying a default language for cases where translations are not available.
Users can then input translations for tournament fields such as “Description,” “Rules,” and “Price” in the selected languages, which will be displayed on the public page accordingly.
Introduction of New Games
Three new games have been added to Toornament for organizing competitions:
- Age of Mythology Retold
- XDEFIANT
- Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja STORM CONNECTIONS
Updates to Website Builder
The website builder tool on Toornament continues to evolve, providing users with new features and options for creating white-label sites and tournament platforms without the need for coding skills.
Recent updates include the ability to create multiple levels of drop-down menus, an expanded range of menu styles, the display of additional information about tournament participants, the showcase of game-specific details on match pages, and the highlighting of matches in progress on tournament brackets.
Integration of PayPal Payment
Toornament now offers the convenience of integrating PayPal payment with tournament registrations, streamlining the registration and payment process on public tournament pages.
Users can activate the PayPal option in the “Settings > Registration” section and configure payment settings based on player or team pricing, entry fees, and currency preferences.
Furthermore, users can now set a maximum number of registrations to limit participant numbers, with automatic validation upon successful payments.
PayPal functionality is available in the Toornament Pro Plan without any additional per-registration fees.
