Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 patch notes detail latest maps and modes, along with balance changes

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 Brings Exciting Updates

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Season 4 is now live, bringing a host of new content and balance updates for players to enjoy.

Activision has unveiled the patch notes alongside the launch of the season, providing players with all the necessary information before diving into the action. This includes the introduction of several new 6v6 multiplayer maps, six fresh modes, and a brand-new battle pass with exciting rewards.

Similar to Season 3, Season 4 kicks off with two new maps – Tokyo and Paris. Additionally, players can expect two more maps, Incline and Das Gross, to arrive later in the season.

At the start of the season, players can delve into these new maps with three fresh modes: Demolition, Hyper Cranked, and Cache. Throughout the season, Mutation, Headshots Only, and Havoc modes are set to be released for even more variety.

Players can also look forward to unlocking a range of new weapons through the season’s battle pass. This includes the return of fan-favorite weapons like the Kar98k marksman rifle, the Superi 46 submachine gun, the Reclaimer 18 shotgun, and the formidable Sledgehammer melee weapon, which can be earned through weekly challenges mid-season.

Furthermore, Season 4 will introduce eight new Aftermarket Parts, offering comprehensive conversion kits for popular weaponry.

Among the featured parts are the JAK Harbinger Kit M4 assault rifle, known for its quick-kill capabilities despite a slow-fire rate, the JAK Gunslinger Basilisk handgun with increased rate of fire and capacity, and the JAK Thumper-656 RGL-80 launcher, offering improved range and recoil while enabling the use of a high-capacity drum mag for the FJX Horus.

Activision has also addressed various fixes in the latest patch, including improvements to stability and performance, as well as issues related to incorrect first-person animations.

Players can now customize their loadouts with camos on the B.E.A.S.T. Glove Blueprint for the Gladiator, and equipping the Karaage skin on the MCW Assault Rifle should no longer generate errors.
