Summer Game Fest revealed the highly anticipated LEGO Horizon Adventures, set to be released on PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC this holiday season. The game, a collaboration between Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo, promises to deliver an action-packed adventure in the familiar LEGO style.

What the LEGO Horizon Adventures Trailer Reveals

The trailer for LEGO Horizons Adventure introduces Hotdog Guy in a precarious situation with a Thunderjaw, only to be rescued by LEGO Aloy. The game follows Aloy as she navigates a LEGO-fied post-apocalyptic US, accompanied by companions like Varl, as they battle mechanical dinosaur-like creatures with unconventional weapons like sharks, while collecting valuable collectibles.

The narrative unfolds with Aloy’s journey from being discovered as a baby in a cave by her mentor Rost, who imparts wisdom for survival. As Aloy uncovers her fate, she encounters a hologram of a scientist named Elisabet and faces off against a dangerous group devoted to an Ancient Evil, led by Helis.

Players also have the opportunity to transform the village of Mother’s Heart into a vibrant theme park by creating and decorating unique LEGO structures and decorations. Additionally, various outfits, such as a bee, carrot, banana, or astronaut, can be unlocked, leaving the question of whether Aloy will ever wear her desired hotdog costume.
