Cult of the Lamb Unholy Alliance Update Release Date

Exciting news for fans of Cult of the Lamb as Devolver Digital has announced the release date for the upcoming “Unholy Alliance” update. This free update is set to launch on August 12, 2024, and brings a host of new features to the popular game.

Cult of the Lamb Unholy Alliance Details

One of the highlights of the “Unholy Alliance” update is the introduction of a new playable character – the Goat. This sinister ally, summoned by blood and born in corruption, can now join forces with the holy Lamb in local co-op play. Together, players can explore dungeons, vanquish heretics, build their cult, and unlock new powers when the update goes live on August 12.

Players can now experience the entire Cult of the Lamb campaign in local co-op mode. With one player controlling the Lamb and the other taking on the role of the Goat, the duo can engage in new two-player versions of existing minigames like fishing and knucklebones. Additionally, a variety of corrupted weapons, tarot cards, curses, and relics await players as they embark on co-op adventures.

The Lamb and the Goat have unique abilities that allow them to swap weapons, deal extra damage when fighting together, and unleash critical hits when their attacks are synchronized. For solo players, there are also new powers and abilities to enhance the gameplay experience.

Aside from the cooperative gameplay feature, the “Unholy Alliance” update introduces new tarot cards, relics, buildings, fleeces, follower traits, follower quests, and other hidden secrets for players to uncover and enjoy!
