Dead Cells Designer Reveals Beat ‘Em Up ‘Tenjutsu’, And We Really Hope It Comes To Switch

Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Deadnight Games have teamed up to bring gamers an exciting new roguelike beat ’em up called Tenjustu. This game comes from the mind of Sébastien Benard, the designer behind the popular title Dead Cells.

While a release date has not been announced yet, and there is no confirmation for a Switch release, the trailer for Tenjustu is enough to get fans excited. Filled with stylish anime cutscenes and fast-paced beat ’em up action featuring stunning pixel art, this game is definitely one to watch.

Benard describes the game as a combat roguelite that embodies the essence of characters like John Wick and Jackie Chan. With its dynamic combat system, players will face off against multiple enemies at once, creating intense ‘one vs. many’ scenarios. The addition of combat opportunities, space management, and crowd control aims to elevate the gameplay to new heights.

Stay tuned for updates on a potential Switch release as we eagerly anticipate more news about this upcoming title. In the meantime, take a glimpse at some screenshots from the game below.
