The Xbox Insider Program Welcomes Palworld Update Preview

Exciting news for all Xbox Insiders! The Palworld Update Preview is now available, offering early access to new features and game updates. Dive into Palworld with your existing saves and explore Palpagos with your Pals!

What’s New in the Palworld Update Preview

Pocketpair has introduced the much-requested dedicated server feature for both Xbox and Windows participants. Connect to Official and Community Dedicated Servers, or create your own private Palworld instance. The Pocketpair team is eager for Xbox Insiders to experience this feature and share their feedback.

Exploring the World of Palworld

Palworld, developed by Pocketpair, is an open-world survival and crafting game where you team up with mysterious creatures called “Pals” to explore the Palpagos Islands. Build bases, farm resources, and battle other Pal tamers with over 100 unique Pals. Multiplayer support allows you to enjoy the adventure with friends.

Joining the Palworld Update Preview

NOTE: To participate in the Palworld Update Preview, you must own Palworld or have an active Game Pass subscription.

  1. Open Xbox Insider Hub on your Xbox Series X|S or Windows PC.
  2. Navigate to Previews > Palworld Update Preview.
  3. Select Join.
  4. Wait for registration to complete and install the preview from the Store Page.

NOTE: Restart your console or PC after registration to update to the Palworld Update Preview version. If you wish to revert to the public version, leave the Palworld Update Preview in the Xbox Insider Hub.

Setting Up a Dedicated Server

If you’re interested in creating a dedicated server, follow the documentation provided by Pocketpair.

NOTE: Launching the dedicated server software may require updating DirectX and/or C++ Runtimes.

If you encounter any problems during the Palworld Update Preview, use “Report a problem” on Xbox consoles.

  1. Hold down the home button on your Xbox controller.
  2. Select Report a problem.
  3. Choose Games and Palworld Update Preview.
  4. Fill out the form in detail and submit.
