Developer-Publisher Dragami Games Set to Launch Lollipop Chainsaw RePop on Multiple Platforms

Exciting news for fans of the 2012 zombie action game, Lollipop Chainsaw – developer-publisher Dragami Games has announced that the remaster, Lollipop Chainsaw RePop, is scheduled to release on September 25. The game will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC platforms.

In the first trailer for RePop, released by Dragami, players get a glimpse of the remastered gameplay and the various characters they will encounter in the game. Notably, Lollipop Chainsaw is a joint effort between Goichi “Suda51” Suda (known for No More Heroes and Killer7) and filmmaker James Gunn, who is now at the helm of DC films after directing Guardians of the Galaxy.

Enhancements and Updates for Lollipop Chainsaw RePop

Accompanying the trailer, Dragami has provided details regarding the improvements and upgrades for Chainsaw Lollipop RePop. Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC can experience the game in stunning 4K resolution with a smooth 60 FPS. The previous generation consoles like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch will support 1080p resolution at 30 FPS.

According to Dragami, RePop boasts shorter load times, enhanced camera and keystroke response, faster attack and movement speeds. Additionally, the Chainsaw Blaster now features an “auto rock on” mode with increased ammunition count, early access to combos, updated Nick Roulette, revamped minigames, and an auto-QTE feature enabled by default.
