Sony Reveals Top Downloaded Games for May, Sea of Thieves Dominates PS5 Charts
Sony has recently unveiled the list of its most-downloaded games for the month of May, with Rare’s Sea of Thieves emerging as the top contender in the PS5 charts in two major territories. Despite being formerly an Xbox exclusive, the game made its debut on the platform on April 30.
The PlayStation Blog post discloses that Sea of Thieves secured the top spot as the best-selling PS5 title in both the US/Canada and the EU, surpassing popular games like Grand Theft Auto V, Madden NFL 24, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. This impressive performance upon its release showcases the strong demand among PlayStation users for this open-world co-op pirate adventure. Additionally, Grounded, another Xbox exclusive that arrived on PlayStation in April, managed to secure the 11th position on the list for the US/Canada region.
