Many Tarnished players have interpreted this advice as coming directly from the developers, with one stating, “The best advice coming straight from the source”. Another player teased, “This is the developer’s way of telling us Tarnished we are noob plebs”.

Speculations arise as some believe that Bandai Namco’s message may be a response to the mixed user rating received by Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on Steam. After players expressed their disappointment with the PC version’s performance issues, the DLC has faced criticism.

With almost 27,000 players contributing to the aggregate score, the DLC has stumbled on PC. While many players appreciate the game’s stunning presentation and world-building, some have raised concerns about capped FPS, stuttering, and the challenging boss mechanics.

For those struggling to access the DLC content, Elden Ring pros are stepping in to help fellow players defeat two key bosses. These bosses, Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood, must be conquered to unlock Shadow of the Erdtree. Many Elden Ring players have yet to achieve this milestone, prompting experts to offer their assistance.

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of FromSoftware’s Soulsborne games, has emphasized the importance of maintaining the games’ difficulty level. Despite the challenging nature of the games, Miyazaki believes that lowering the difficulty would diminish the sense of achievement that players experience when overcoming obstacles. This philosophy, according to Miyazaki, is a fundamental aspect of the gaming experience.
