Introduction

Redmane Freyja is an essential NPC in the Elden Ring DLC known as Shadow of the Erdtree. She can be found at the beginning of your journey into the Shadow Realm, specifically in the Gravesite Plain.

In this guide, we will explore how to complete Redmane Freyja’s quest in Shadow of the Erdtree.

Where to find Redmane Freyja NPC in Elden Ring DLC

Redmane Freyja can be located resting with Hornsent at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace in Gravesite Plain. This site of grace is situated at the end of the main road before it branches off into three directions: west to Belurat Castle, north to the lake, and east to Castle Ensis.

Make sure to interact with Redmane Freyja before proceeding to Belurat Castle. While in the castle, you can summon her for the Divine Beast Dancing Lion boss fight, although it’s not necessary for completing her quest. Additionally, ensure you speak to another NPC, Sir Ansbach, at the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace before leaving Gravesite Plain, as he will assist Freyja later on.

Meeting Freyja in Shadow Keep

After defeating the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, continue through the Shadow Realm until you near Shadow Keep. Here, you will receive a notification that the Great Rune has broken, which is essential for the NPCs’ questlines. Take the opportunity to interact with all NPCs, including Freyja, for additional context and dialogue.

Proceed to Shadow Keep and progress through the dungeon. Near the end, you will encounter Freyja at the site of grace on the seventh floor of the Specimen Storehouse.

Engage in conversation with Freyja until she runs out of dialogue, providing valuable information about General Radahn.

Getting Freyja’s letter from Sir Ansbach
