Sega Won’t Be Airing A ‘Sonic Central’ Broadcast This Month

Sonic Central Update: No Broadcast This Year

Sega’s annual ‘Sonic Central’ broadcast, typically held around Sonic’s birthday, will not be taking place this June, as confirmed by Sonic brand social media and community manager Katie Chrzanowski in a recent surprise live stream.

However, fans need not fret, as Sega assures that while there won’t be a presentation this month, future Sonic Central events are still on the horizon.

Despite the absence of a broadcast, Sega’s local team has unveiled some surprises for Sonic’s 33rd birthday, including a closer look at new LEGO sets, fresh merchandise like a themed bag and wireless earbuds, and an upcoming figure from Good Smile Company celebrating the iconic Shadow the Hedgehog.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate the release of ‘Sonic X Shadow Generations’ in October, followed by the highly anticipated ‘Sonic the Hedgehog 3’ movie premiering in December.
