Original story, 2:22 p.m., 6/20/24:

Last year, a listing for Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition appeared on the Xbox store, leading Ubisoft to clarify that it was a result of a “technical error.” Now, in a similar technical blunder, Ubisoft might have accidentally disclosed that Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition will be launched on June 25.

Earlier today, the official Ubisoft X account posted a trailer for the game showcasing remastered visuals and performance, along with the text “You’ll be able to relive Jade’s adventures in Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition, coming June 25.” Despite the deletion of the post, the launch date of June 25 suggests that the beloved classic will be available on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC in just a few days.

Although the tweet has been removed, some users managed to capture the trailer for your viewing:

The game is set to feature up to 4K/60 FPS resolution and performance, an art gallery, and various other features upon its release on “all platforms” on June 25. While Ubisoft has not addressed the deleted tweet, if the game does indeed launch next week, more details are likely to follow soon.

Despite Ubisoft’s silence regarding the deleted announcement, Limited Run Games has announced that it will be producing a physical edition of Beyond Good & Evil – 20th Anniversary Edition, with a release date of July 12 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and Switch.
