Fortunately, the game introduces a unique progression system involving Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes to bolster your strength and capabilities.

Upon collecting Scadutree Fragments and Revered Spirit Ashes, a new upgrade option will appear at the Site of Grace where you can enhance your Scadutree Blessing. This enhancement will consume a varying number of Fragments or Ashes, depending on your level, to improve your overall stats and enhance Spirit Ash summons. This serves as the primary method of leveling up in Shadow of the Erdtree, complementing the importance of Runes.
It is important to note that the stat buff from this enhancement will only be active within the DLC zones and will not affect the base game. Adjusted stats will be highlighted in yellow on your character menu, signifying the permanent nature of the enhancement. Locating Scadutree Fragments in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
Scadutree Fragments can be found scattered across the map, with certain locations serving as reliable sources. Miquella Crosses always harbor a Scadutree Fragment, while ghostly enemies carrying pots guarantee a Fragment upon their initial defeat. These enemies are often overlooked by players, so keep a lookout for them as you traverse the world.
Gravesite Plain
Here are the Scadutree Fragments discovered in the starting Gravesite Plain region of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
Church of Consolation
The Church of Consolation, situated in the southeast corner of the area, houses the first set of Scadutree Fragments. Approach the church cautiously, as formidable enemies guard it. By heading directly to the statue, players can claim two Scadutree Fragments as a reward.
Scorched Ruins
Located east of the Scorched Ruins, a group of ghostly enemies in a small graveyard holds a pot-carrying foe, ensuring a free Scadutree Fragment upon its defeat. Swift action is required, as pot-carrying enemies tend to flee and disappear.
