How to Fish in Tarisland

Struggling to keep those slippery fish in check while playing as a priest or bard in Tarisland? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered on all the ins and outs of fishing in this mystical world. Read on to become a master angler!

How Do You Fish in Tarisland?

Before you can start fishing in Tarisland, there are a few prerequisites you need to meet. First, you must progress through the main questline and get your character to at least level 25.

Once you’ve met these requirements, head over to the SilverLit Trading Post at the beginning of a new day. Look for an NPC named Black Gun, who will provide you with a Beginner’s fishing rod and offer guidance on how to fish. He’ll then send you to practice your skills at the Fisherman’s Dock.

Follow these steps to fish effectively:

  • Equip your Fishing Rod in the bottom slot.
  • Choose a suitable area with water for fishing.
  • Cast your fishhook into the desired fishing spot.
  • Wait for a fish to bite (indicated by a green bar at the top).
  • Click continuously to reel in the catch.

That’s all there is to it! In addition to fish, you may also come across shells that can be sold for a decent price. Just remember to watch out for sharks while you’re fishing!

How to Deal With Sharks While Fishing

While fishing in Tarisland, you may encounter sharks at some point. When a shark appears, the familiar green line will transform into a red shark icon, signifying that the predator is after your catch.

To deal with sharks effectively, click strategically to prevent your fishing line from crossing paths with the shark. Maintain a safe distance by clicking precisely and at the right moment – you only have a few seconds to do so. Eventually, the shark will tire itself out, allowing you to resume fishing without any hindrances. Fail to evade the shark, and you’ll lose your catch to the hungry predator.
