Acclaimed theme park management sim Parkitect hits consoles this week

Parkitect: Deluxe Edition Coming to Consoles

Parkitect, a beloved theme park management sim inspired by Rollercoaster Tycoon, is making its way to Xbox and PlayStation on Wednesday, 3rd July. Developed by Texel Raptor, this game originally debuted on Steam early access in 2016 and received a full release two years later. Now, after nearly six years, it’s getting a console makeover with updated UI and controller-friendly controls.

If you’re a fan of tycoon games, Parkitect is a must-play. This title takes the classic theme park management formula and adds modern twists, all while keeping a nostalgic charm. While it may not have the visual flair of Planet Coaster, Parkitect makes up for it with its rich management features, robust construction tools, engaging campaign mode, and strategic challenges like maintaining park infrastructure.

Get ready to experience Parkitect: Deluxe Edition on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 this Wednesday. And while you’re at it, keep an eye out for Texel Raptor’s next project, Croakwood, a frog-themed town building and management game headed to PC in the future.
