Today’s lesson from Connections: avoid playing with a hangover. Even a mild one can throw off your game. I might not have solved it regardless, especially grouping ‘School facilities’ like AUDITORIUM with school seems tricky. As for the green ROULETTE BETS, I got caught up in colors when the answer was right there. The ‘Dove’ group was unfamiliar to me, and I missed the _Goose connection too. How did you fare today? What is NYT Connections?
NYT Connections is a word game series by the New York Times, where players find groups of four related items. Each group varies in difficulty, helping players enhance their word association skills. The game is available for free on desktop or mobile on the NYT Games site.
Challenging and engaging, NYT Connections requires players to think critically and uncover connections between seemingly unrelated words. It’s a step up from simpler word games like Wordle, offering more complex challenges and opportunities for players to be tricked by wordplay.
