Price Increases And New Tiers Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass Updates and Price Changes

Microsoft has announced some changes to Xbox Game Pass, including adjustments to certain tiers and upcoming price increases. Here’s a summary of the updates directly from Microsoft’s website:

For new members, Xbox Game Pass Standard will be priced at $15 per month and will not include access to Day One releases, EA Play, Game Pass for PC, or cloud gaming.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will see a price increase from $17 to $20 per month, offering access to all the additional features not included in the Standard tier.

Xbox Game Pass Core, which focuses on online access and a curated library of games, will have its yearly subscription fee raised from $60 to $75. However, the monthly price of $10 will remain the same.

PC Game Pass will increase from $10 to $12 per month but will still provide access to Day One releases.

These price adjustments will come into effect on September 12. Adjusting to price changes for services you already enjoy can be frustrating. How do you feel about these updates? Will you continue your subscription, or is it time to reconsider?
