To obtain gunpowder, you can craft it, loot containers, or defeat zombie enemies to have a chance of getting Acid as a drop. Acid is a crafting material used in making gunpowder.

How to Craft Gunpowder
Head to the Supplies Workbench in your base and locate the Gunpowder recipe, which requires 5x Sulfur, 3x Charcoal, and 3x Acid.
Sulfur can be found in grey nodes with a yellow patch on them, scattered throughout the map, especially in forested areas, near roads, and water bodies like rivers and lakes. Each node can yield around 16-20 Sulfur.
Best Location to Farm Sulfur
According to YouTuber CosminCox, the prime sulfur farming location is at Chalk Peak.
Travel to the nearest activated teleportation tower and ride your motorbike to the provided coordinates.
