What is NYT Connections?
NYT Connections is a popular word game developed by the New York Times. It requires players to find groups of four items that share a common trait, with each group varying in difficulty. Green groups are easier, while purple groups are the most challenging.
Players can make up to four mistakes and don’t necessarily need to solve the hardest group. The game can be played for free on the NYT Games website on both desktop and mobile.
It’s a more complex game than Wordle, with tricks and wordplay that can trip up even experienced players.
