PSA: This weekend is your last chance to buy from the Xbox 360 online marketplace

Time is Running Out to Save on Xbox 360 Games

Don’t forget, Microsoft is closing its Xbox 360 digital store on July 29th, giving you just a few more days to take advantage of the final discounts on some of the top Xbox 360 games from this era.

While many games will still be available on other platforms and through Microsoft’s backwards compatibility system, there are a few titles that will be disappearing forever. So, if there’s a game you’ve had your eye on, now is the time to purchase it.

X user Kalyoshika has compiled a list of games/DLC that are “not going to make it”, as well as games that are transitioning from easily accessible digital copies to rare, expensive, or playable only through piracy.

While the exact preservation efforts of publishers and developers remain unclear, KaL noted, “There have been people diligently trying to get everything possible backed up in some form, once the store is turned off for good it’ll really be hog wild time for modders.”
