Grasshopper Manufacture Showcase Set for July 31st

Grasshopper Manufacture is gearing up for its second annual showcase, Grasshopper Direct 2024, scheduled to take place on July 31st.

Following the success of last year’s event, fans are eagerly anticipating a peek at the upcoming projects from the acclaimed game developer, Suda51. Known for iconic titles like Killer7, the No More Heroes series, Lollipop Chainsaw, and Shadows of the Damned, Suda51 has built a reputation for delivering unique and engaging gaming experiences.

While details about the showcase content remain under wraps, the Grasshopper Manufacture team is committed to ensuring a smoother presentation this time around. Last year’s event experienced delays, prompting the team to emphasize their focus on punctuality for Grasshopper Direct 2024.

In a message shared on X (formerly Twitter), the team stated, “We’re currently working our asses off on getting it ready *ON TIME* this time, and we don’t want to screw this one up so stay tuned for further updates on the exact time!”

Exciting news awaits fans of the cult classic Lollipop Chainsaw, as the game is set for a re-release titled Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP. This revamped version, featuring high school cheerleader Juliet battling zombies with her boyfriend’s severed head in tow, will launch digitally on September 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch, and PC via Steam. A physical release will follow at a later date, with more details to be announced.

Additionally, a remastered edition of the 2011 action-adventure Shadows of the Damned is on the horizon, scheduled for release this Halloween.
