Metal Slug Meets Symphony Of The Night In ‘Guns Of Fury’, Launching 2024

Introducing Guns of Fury: An Exciting Action Game Coming Soon to Switch and Steam

Developer Gelato Games has announced their latest project, Guns of Fury. This 2D-pixel art action game combines the intense gameplay of Metal Slug with the exploration elements found in Metroidvania classics like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Scheduled for release on both the Nintendo Switch and Steam later in 2024, Guns of Fury is the brainchild of the same two-man team behind the charming action-platformer Goblin Sword, which made its debut in 2020. This time around, they have enlisted the help of composer Dominic Ninmark (known for his work on titles like Blazing Chrome, Gravity Circuit, and Mighty Goose) to craft a captivating soundtrack for the game.

One of the standout features of Guns of Fury is its stunning visuals. The character designs and environments are packed with intricate details, creating a visually appealing aesthetic that harkens back to games like Mercenary Kings—a title heavily inspired by Metal Slug.
