Upcoming Updates and Balancing
As the gaming landscape evolves, we continuously assess the performance of maps, Agents, weapons, and abilities across different skill levels. Our goal is to maintain a dynamic and engaging gameplay experience for all players.
Regular bi-weekly patches are released to address game balance issues, bugs, and quality of life improvements. Periodically, we also make larger updates to an Agent’s abilities to ensure a balanced gameplay environment.
Since the Limited Beta launch on console two months ago, we have already implemented four patch updates. These updates are tailored to address the specific needs and nuances of each gaming platform, ensuring a fair and enjoyable experience for all.
Platform-Specific Balancing
While the core competitive experience remains consistent across PC and console, Valorant requires independent balancing between platforms due to variations in input methods and playstyles. Different Agents may perform differently on console versus PC, necessitating platform-specific adjustments.
In addition to game balance, Valorant features a rotating map pool in Competitive mode to provide players with a diverse gameplay experience. Player feedback is crucial in shaping the future of Valorant, and we are grateful to our community for their support and contributions.
