Physical Edition of Glover Coming to PS5 and Nintendo Switch
Exciting news for fans of the classic game Glover – a physical edition will be available for the PS5 and Nintendo Switch thanks to Limited Run Games. Preorders for the physical edition will open to the public in less than 24 hours.
When can you preorder the Glover physical edition?
Mark your calendars! Preorders for the Glover physical editions for PS5 and Nintendo Switch will go live on August 13, 2024 at 12:00 P.M. ET. The cost of the physical edition will be $34.99.
It is important to note that the physical release of Glover comes on a region-free disc and is not part of the Limited Run Games Collection. This release is not numbered, as the physical media company is distributing the game on behalf of QUbyte Classics. There will be no purchase limit for this edition.
Glover, originally developed by Interactive Studios and published by Hasbro Interactive, first came out in 1998 for Nintendo 64 and PC, with a PS1 version following the next year. While a digital port is in the works for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, an official release date has not yet been announced. A physical version for PS4 was also revealed in July, but it will be distributed by Piko Interactive’s label Physical Mania.
In Glover, players take on the role of a magical glove on a quest to find crystals disguised as rubber balls to save the world. With 30 levels spread across six unique worlds, players will encounter various puzzles as they help Glover navigate through the challenges. Along the way, an evil glove attempts to thwart Glover’s mission to retrieve the crystals and restore peace.
Limited Run Games has been offering pre-orders for a variety of beloved games this year. In July, the company unveiled a physical edition of Alan Wake 2 from Remedy Entertainment, complete with a Collector’s Edition packed with extras. Most recently, Ubisoft’s Beyond Good & Evil received its own Collector’s Edition, with preorders closing soon.
