Acclaimed biking game Lonely Mountains: Downhill is getting a skiing sequel

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders – A New Adventure Awaits

Lonely Mountains: Downhill, the wildly popular mountain biking game from Megagon Industries, is gearing up for a snowy sequel with the upcoming release of Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders. The new game promises to bring the same thrill and challenge of its predecessor, but this time with skis instead of wheels.

Just like in Lonely Mountains: Downhill, Snow Riders will task players with navigating treacherous terrain from the mountain’s peak to its base. However, this time around, the landscapes are covered in a blanket of snow and ice, adding an extra layer of difficulty as players aim to execute tricks, find shortcuts, and improve their race times on skis.

In addition to the familiar challenges, equipment upgrades, and unlockable content, Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders will also feature online multiplayer modes for competitive and cooperative play. This new feature is sure to add an exciting new dimension to the gameplay experience.

While an official release date for Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders has not been confirmed, PC gamers can expect to see the game on Steam before the year ends. Fans of the original game have every reason to anticipate the sequel with great excitement, given its captivating visuals and immersive gameplay.

“It’s a magic game, conjuring a sense of life from what looks like trees of folded paper, rocks made real from crinkled blankets,” Christian Donlan wrote of Lonely Mountains: Downhill in 2019. “At times I’ve felt more connected to the world of this game than my own. It does that through feeling, and feeling in the simplest and purest sense. Take a corner.”
