The latest Fortnite Marvel season has just been launched, introducing Chapter 5 of Season 4: Absolute Doom. This season brings a collaboration with the Marvel universe, so players can expect to encounter many familiar heroes and villains as they navigate the map.
New Locations
Marvel’s influence can be seen in the map updates for this season, with Doom taking over and adding three new Points of Interest (POIs) and two new landmarks.
Castle Doom
Castle Doom stands as the largest POI in Chapter 5 Season 4, offering players a chance to explore its chambers, courtyard, and forge. Within the castle, players will face off against Doom’s henchmen and the formidable Doombot, who guards the throne room. Defeating Doombot will reward players with valuable loot, including the Siphon medallion for health regeneration and Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets for enhanced abilities.
Doomstadt
Doomstadt, the capital city of Latveria under Doom’s rule in Marvel comics, is now a POI in Fortnite. Players can navigate the city to collect loot, but they must be cautious of the powerful boss lurking within – Mysterio. Defeating Mysterio will yield rewards like the Stealth medallion and a powerful shotgun for players to use.
The Raft
The Raft, a high-security prison that houses Marvel’s most dangerous villains, is another new POI in Season 4. Players can expect challenging battles and valuable rewards, including the ability to see nearby enemies and a powerful Burst Rifle, after defeating Emma Frost within the prison.
New Crates
For additional loot options, Season 4 introduces new crates across the map, including The Avengers Crate and The Doom Crate, each offering unique rewards and items.
New Weapons
In addition to new locations and crates, Season 4 unveils a range of new weapons, such as the Dual Micro SMGs, Captain America’s Shield, War Machine’s Auto Turret, Hover Jets, and Arsenal, each providing players with diverse combat capabilities.
New Battle Pass
The Marvel collaboration extends to the Battle Pass, featuring iconic characters like Gwenpool, War Machine, Peelverine, Emma Frost, and others as unlockable character skins. Players can also anticipate quests in September to unlock Doom as a character skin, along with the Doom Brella as a reward for achieving a Victory Royale in specific game modes.
