After experiencing three failures in a week, I am determined to sharpen my Connections skills. Today’s game proved to be another challenging one, requiring extra attention.
Confronted with the blue group, CAR RENTAL COMPANIES, which consists of companies predominantly in the United States, non-US players like myself may have faced difficulty. However, solving the tricky purple group early on boosted my confidence, as I quickly identified the clever connection involving chemical elements at the end of words like LEAD in PLEAD or TIN in LATIN.

What is NYT Connections?
NYT Connections is a popular word game series created by the New York Times. Players are tasked with identifying groups of four items that share a common trait, with each group varying in difficulty level. Green groups are easy, yellow are slightly harder, blue can be quite challenging, and purple groups are usually very tough.
Players are allowed up to four mistakes, and while solving the final group isn’t mandatory, it can be deduced through process of elimination. The game can be trickier than Wordle, incorporating wordplay and deceptive elements to keep players on their toes.
Accessible for free on the NYT Games website, players can enjoy NYT Connections on both desktop and mobile devices.
