Passion for the Remakes

Miyachi:
One staff member at MAGES. was a huge fan of Famicom Detective Club, which sparked their enthusiasm for the remakes.

Sakamoto:
Upon reviewing the documents and graphics for the demo, I realized the seriousness of MAGES.’ commitment to the project.

Miyachi:
MAGES. even recreated a scene from Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir to showcase their vision for the remakes.

Exploring Adventure Games

Miyachi:
Before joining the company, I had never played adventure games. However, my role in the remakes project introduced me to a new world of gaming genres.

After playing Famicom Detective Club PART II: The Girl Who Stands Behind, I was truly impressed and wondered why I hadn’t experienced it sooner.

Roles in Development

Sakamoto:
Initially, I planned to supervise the project, but MAGES. invited me to work with them, leading to a more hands-on involvement than anticipated.

Miyachi:
Encouraging Sakamoto to share his opinions and ideas, we collaborated closely throughout the development process, blurring the lines of our respective roles.
