Jackbox confirms Naughty Pack is safe for Twitch streaming

Jackbox Confirms Twitch Compatibility for Upcoming Naughty Pack

Jackbox has verified that its upcoming Naughty Pack is suitable for Twitch streaming, with streamers being responsible for moderating content for their audience using in-game options.

During Gamescom, Jackbox spoke with Eurogamer and mentioned that Twitch representatives have reviewed the game and found nothing in it that goes against Twitch guidelines.

The Jackbox Party Packs consist of various party games that are generally innocent, but can take a turn towards more mature content depending on the players. This has led to the creation of the Naughty Pack by Jackbox, focusing on adult themes.

One example of a game in the Naughty Pack is Dirty Drawful, where players draw pictures based on suggestive prompts and then guess the prompts from the drawings. Another game, Let Me Finish, requires players to talk about a given picture within a time limit, sometimes leading to humorous or provocative scenarios.

Another game in the pack is Fakin’ It All Night Long, which adds a twist to traditional party games by incorporating elements of deception.

While some of the content in the Naughty Pack may not be suitable for all audiences, the game does offer moderation options to adjust explicit content. Additionally, tagging the Jackbox Naughty Pack on Twitch will automatically categorize the stream as adult content.

Streamers are encouraged to make decisions regarding the appropriateness of the content for their audience and ensure compliance with Twitch guidelines, especially with the platform’s recent updates regarding prohibited content.

The Jackbox Naughty Pack is set to release on 12th September across various platforms including PC (Steam), Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.
