New Agent: Vyse
Vyse has made her debut in Valorant as the newest Sentinel Class agent, bringing her unique abilities focused on liquid metal. While she may be the 25th playable agent, in Valorant’s lore, she is actually the 26th due to the mystery surrounding Agent 8. Let’s take a closer look at Vyse’s abilities:
Arc Rose (E)
Vyse’s Signature Ability, Arc Rose, allows her to strategically place metal roses on surfaces to blind enemies once triggered. Players can deploy and redeploy a total of two roses to outmaneuver their opponents.
Shear (Q)
Shear, Vyse’s Basic Ability, enables her to set wall traps that immobilize enemies who trigger the trap. An indestructible wall emerges momentarily, isolating the caught player from their team.
Razorvine (C)
Another one of Vyse’s Basic Abilities is Razorvine, where she places traps on the ground that release damaging metal thorns when activated. Any player caught in the trap’s radius will suffer damage.
Steel Garden (X)
Vyse’s Ultimate Ability, Steel Garden, jams the primary guns of enemies within range, leaving them with only secondary and melee weapons at their disposal.
Map Updates
At the onset of a new Act, Valorant resets player ranks and updates the Map Pool Rotation for Competitive mode. For Act 2, players have access to a total of 11 maps to compete on. The competitive map pool includes:

- Icebox
- Lotus
- Sunset
Additionally, Split rejoins the map rotation for Unrated and Swift Play modes. For players seeking to explore other maps not in the competitive pool, all 11 maps are available in Custom Games.
