Latest Castlevania Dominus Collection Deal
The recently released Castlevania Dominus Collection offers a remastered version of classic Castlevania games for fans looking for a monster-hunting adventure on PC. Green Man Gaming is currently providing a 25% discount on the Castlevania Dominus Collection, bringing the price down to $18.74 for four 2D Castlevania titles. This deal includes a key to redeem on Steam, a great opportunity considering Steam is offering the collection at full price of $25.
What’s Included in the Castlevania Dominus Collection?
The Castlevania Dominus Collection features three side-scrolling games originally released on the Nintendo DS: Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, and Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. These ports have been adapted to a single screen, as opposed to the DS’s dual screens, resulting in slight redesigns. Notable changes include map and inventory screens appearing on the right side and Dawn of Sorrow’s stylus drawing mechanic being adapted into quick-time events.
Additionally, the Dominus Collection includes a remastered version of the first Castlevania arcade game, Haunted Castle, with the option to play in its original format.
Quality-of-life improvements have been added to all games in the Dominus Collection, such as rewind features and save states for a better gaming experience.
Other Castlevania Game Collections
Konami has released previous Castlevania game collections to make old entries accessible on newer platforms. The PC version of the 2019 Castlevania Anniversary Collection is available on Fanatical at a 20% discount, priced at $15.74 instead of the usual $20. This collection includes eight games, as well as an ebook documenting the franchise’s development history.
For fans interested in physical releases, Limited Run Games will offer multiple cover options for the Dominus Collection, with preorders starting in September. Physical editions of the Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Castlevania Advance Collection are also available on Amazon, some with alternative cover art. Keep in mind that these physical editions may be pricey due to their limited availability and third-party sellers.
