Introduction
Call of Duty is back with the latest installment in the conspiracy-filled Black Ops series, Black Ops 6. Although the game won’t be released until Oct. 25, pre-orders are now open.
Game Features
Black Ops 6 will debut with 16 new multiplayer maps and brings back a cooperative zombies mode. This entry introduces significant changes to player movement, allowing omnidirectional actions like sprinting, sliding, and diving. Players can now perform these actions in any direction, with options for intelligent movement settings to automate certain actions.
Pre-Order Information
There are currently two versions of Black Ops 6 available for pre-order: the standard edition and the more feature-packed Vault Edition. Below is a breakdown of what each version includes and where to secure your copy. Be sure to check out our guide on accessing the open beta as well.
Black Ops 6 Standard Edition
Pre-ordering the standard edition of Black Ops 6 grants access to the full game upon release, along with the Woods Operator Pack and Reflect 115 Camo Pack for use in other Call of Duty titles. Both digital and physical copies offer the same bonuses, with a GameStop pre-order including an exclusive steelbook case.
The standard edition, priced at $69.99, is available for pre-order on Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and GameStop for PlayStation or Xbox. PC players can reserve a copy on Steam.
Black Ops 6 Vault Edition
The Vault Edition of Black Ops 6 includes all standard version items, plus additional cosmetic and digital bonuses. In addition to the operator and camo packs, this edition offers more exclusive items.
Priced at $99.99, the Vault Edition is available for pre-order on Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam. Although it is a digital exclusive, a GameStop pre-order will still include a collector’s steelbook case.
If you already pre-ordered the standard edition digitally, an upgrade to the Vault Edition is available for $29.99, granting access to the bonus items. This upgrade is also compatible for Xbox Game Pass players.
