Where to Find Yarn in Black Myth: Wukong
The key to upgrading your character’s armor in Black Myth: Wukong lies in obtaining Yarn, an essential crafting material. While you can find Yarn by defeating enemies, there are other methods to acquire it as well.
The best approach is to farm enemies for Yarn drops. After resting at a Shrine, the enemies will respawn, providing you with another opportunity to secure this valuable material. Keep an eye out for Elite enemies as they are more likely to drop Yarn.
For instance, in the Bamboo Grove > Snake Trail shrine, you can encounter Skeletal Snakes that drop Yarn. These adversaries can be found in the Black Wind Mountain of Chapter 1 and also in the Yellow Wind Ridge of Chapter 2.
If you find yourself in urgent need of Yarn and have sufficient Will, you can purchase it from a Shrine store at the cost of 300 Yarn.
If you have unlocked the Yin Tiger, you can also acquire Yarn from him. Additionally, besides Yarn, you will require Silk and Cold Iron Leaves, which can be found with the help of our linked guides.
Exploring the game world and opening chests may also yield Yarn randomly.
How to Use Yarn
Once you have gathered the required amount of Yarn, visit a Keeper’s Shrine and navigate to the Craft Armor section. Choose the armor piece you wish to equip, then press and hold E to initiate the crafting process.
Now that you have upgraded your armor, ensure you also obtain powerful weapons. Learn how to craft the Mythical Golden Loong Staff, Chu-Bai Spear, and unlock the Third Curio slot for enhanced gameplay.
