Monument Valley 3 Pre-Registrations Now Open
During the Netflix Geeked Week 2024 Live presentation, a segment was dedicated to the Netflix Games platform on mobile devices. It was announced that pre-registrations for Monument Valley 3, the latest installment in the popular mobile puzzle series, are now open ahead of its December 10 launch.
New footage for Monument Valley 3 was revealed during a press briefing earlier this week. The footage showcased a new sailing traversal mechanic where players can guide a boat by holding their finger down and moving it around the screen. Additionally, a unique puzzle in the series’s trademark isometric view was shown, featuring pathways rendered invisible by a bright white light in the background.
The announcement of the release date for Monument Valley 3 comes just a month after it was first revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live. The first two games in the series will also be available on the Netflix platform, with the original launching today and Monument Valley 2 coming on October 29.
More Games Coming to Netflix Games
The Netflix Geeked Week presentation also unveiled other games coming to Netflix Games in the near future. This includes a new Spongebob-themed puzzle game called Spongebob: Bubble Pop F.U.N., as well as Blood Line: A Rebel Moon Game and Squid Game Unleashed, both based on popular Netflix properties. Other titles announced include Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition and Civilization VI, with both listed as “coming soon”, along with a fresh take on the classic board game Battleship set to launch on September 24.
Monument Valley 3 is set to launch on December 10 exclusively on mobile devices through the Netflix app. All games available via Netflix Games are free to download for users with an active Netflix subscription.
