Players have been immersed in the Bloodborne inspired soulslike game, Lies of P, for a year now. This unique take on the classic Pinocchio story has received high praise from critics and gamers. Neowiz is commemorating the game’s anniversary with new merchandise and a sneak peek at the Lies of P DLC.
What Can We Expect from the Lies of P DLC?
Neowiz recently teased fans with an image and a song from the upcoming Lies of P DLC on X (formerly Twitter). The image showcases a dock surrounded by shanties, with the game’s protagonist gazing towards a lit lighthouse in the distance. The arrival of the DLC introduces a new mystery character residing in the lighthouse.
The shared track, “Lisrim,” from the Lies of P soundtrack, features a captivating piano introduction followed by the distinct sounds of an accordion. This teaser promises to deliver the same enchanting musical experience as the base game.
Director Jiwon Choi expressed gratitude to the supportive community in a letter commemorating the game’s first anniversary. He disclosed that the team is diligently working on the DLC and shared their aspirations for the upcoming content and sequel.
“We are committed to enhancing our strengths and addressing our weaknesses in the Lies of P DLC and its sequel,” stated Choi. “Although it may seem straightforward, staying true to our core values is a challenging endeavor.”
Lies of P Anniversary Celebrations Continue with New Merchandise
Neowiz and Round8 are extending the Lies of P anniversary festivities by launching a new line of merchandise. Gamers can now purchase six shirts, two hoodies, and a hat inspired by the popular soulslike game. The exclusive gear is available on the official Lies of P gear store.
Game Director Jiwon Choi expressed his gratitude towards the gaming community for their unwavering support over the past year. He praised the team’s efforts in designing apparel that reflects the essence of Lies of P, with more products in the works for the future.
Furthermore, Neowiz collaborated with iam8bit to produce vinyl records featuring the entire Lies of P soundtrack. The Lies of P 3xLP set, priced at $74.99, includes three black and gold records housing all the game’s music. Fans can also purchase the limited edition Lies of P 7″ single for the track “Feel” at $14.99. Both records boast album art created by Dan Zollinger. For enthusiasts wanting both, the Lies of P Special Edition Bundle is available for $84.99, but only until October 4, 2024.
