Red Candle Games Announces Nine Sols Console Release Date
Red Candle Games, known for their critically acclaimed horror titles Detention and Devotion, is set to release their Sekiro-inspired action-platformer Nine Sols on Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch on 26th November.
Nine Sols, initially launched on PC in May after a successful crowdfunding campaign, follows the journey of Yi, a cat-like protagonist seeking vengeance in a dark fantasy world that blends sci-fi and Eastern mythology. Players will aim to defeat the realm’s powerful rulers – the nine Sols – and uncover the enigmatic secrets of an alien civilization.
Combining aspects of a Metroidvania with fast-paced, Sekiro-like combat focused on slashes and deflections, Nine Sols offers a visually stunning and beautifully animated gaming experience.
Nine Sols, which received an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam and left a lasting impression during my early playthrough this year, will be accessible on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Switch upon its release. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can look forward to Nine Sols joining the service’s game library on the same day.
