Shockwave New Update – PlayerAuctions Blog

New Mode: Knockout

The latest season of Apex Legends, Shockwave, introduced a thrilling new game mode called Knockout. In this mode, 60 players are divided into 20 squads with the objective of capturing zones and collecting EVO to earn points. Each round, the five squads with the lowest scores will be eliminated. Players have infinite respawns until the final round as long as at least one teammate is alive. After three elimination rounds, the last five squads will engage in an all-out battle to determine the winner.

For those who have not unlocked certain Legends, there is the Amped Knockout Trials accompanying the new game mode. By completing weekly challenges, players can unlock Legends such as Crypto and Wattson permanently. Additionally, players who complete the trials will receive an Epic-tiered badge as a reward.

Space Hunt Event

The Space Hunt Event in Apex Legends’ Shockwave season offers 36 limited-time cosmetics for players to unlock. Each cosmetic item unlocked counts towards bonus rewards as players reach event milestones. These Space Hunt items can be acquired through Space Hunt Event Packs, which contain one event item and two standard items without any duplicates of event items.

Players can earn Bounty Bucks by completing daily event challenges, allowing them to purchase rewards from the Space Hunt Event Reward Shop. The contents of the Reward Shop will rotate midway through the event on September 28.

During the limited time offer from September 17 to October 8, players can find exclusive cosmetics for Legends such as Bangalore, Wraith, Ash, Mirage, Ballistic, and Gibraltar in the Store Tab.
