Exciting Updates on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Remake
It appears that the producers of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater are keeping a tight lid on the release date, leaving fans in anticipation. However, they did provide some thrilling updates on the upcoming remake, assuring fans that they are making significant progress towards the finish line.
During a recent interview with Famitsu, Producer Noriaki Okamura and creative producer Yuji Korekado were probed about the release date of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. While they remained tight-lipped on the specific date, Okamura did mention that the game is fully playable from start to finish. It seems that Konami is diligently working on adding final touches to ensure a satisfying experience for fans.
“It’s a challenging question (laughs), but the game is already playable in its entirety, and we don’t anticipate a lengthy wait for its completion,” Okamura mentioned. “However, our top priority is to meet the expectations of the fans. We aim to finalize the game properly and make an announcement once we are confident in its state.”
“Game development is not a linear process, so it’s hard to give a precise timeline, but . . . we have a clear vision of the end goal, and we are currently filling in the missing pieces,” Korekado added.
Although an official release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remains uncertain, it is confirmed that Konami will utilize the capabilities of the PS5 Pro to enhance the remake. The game will leverage the console’s AI-powered upscaling technology, PSSR.
“With PSSR technology in Metal Gear Solid Delta, players can expect the jungle environment to come to life with vibrant trees and lush vegetation, enhancing the immersive experience of stealthily navigating through natural surroundings,” stated Korekado in a recent post on the PlayStation Blog. “Moreover, we are committed to delivering a seamless gameplay experience with improved frame rates across the entire game.”
