Timon and Pumbaa Join Disney Dreamlight Valley
Gameloft’s latest roadmap teased their arrival, and now Timon and Pumbaa are officially making their debut in Disney Dreamlight Valley on Wednesday, 9th October.
As part of the free Jungle Getaway Update, the beloved characters from The Lion King will be introduced to players. Timon and Pumbaa will first be encountered in the revamped Lion King Realm, which was initially introduced when Simba and Nala joined the village life simulation last April.
In this update, players can explore the Lion King Realm during the daytime with Timon and Pumbaa on a “relaxing jungle retreat,” where they will impart valuable lessons on rest and relaxation. After the adventure, Timon and Pumbaa will be available in the main world, offering Friendship quests and rewards.
Additionally, the Jungle Getaway Update includes a new Star Path feature with a music festival and rock concert theme. The Night Show Star Path offers rebellious clothing and hairstyles inspired by Disney villains, princesses, and rock music. Players can also unlock new elements and furniture to create their own concert stage, featuring neon lights and pyrotechnics.
Furthermore, the October update brings various quality of life improvements, including enhancements to Scrooge McDuck’s in-game store. Furniture items will now replace empty clothing displays, and additional Realm decor may appear in the daily rotation. Players can also expect new Edit Mode control schemes and the ability to add crafting recipes and duties to the onscreen quest tracker.
The free Jungle Getaway Update will be available on all platforms when it launches on Wednesday, 9th October in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
