Ubisoft’s Effort To Save Star Wars Outlaws Continues With Huge Patch

Ubisoft Continues to Improve Star Wars Outlaws with Latest Patch

Ubisoft has acknowledged that the launch of Star Wars Outlaws didn’t meet expectations, with reports indicating only 1 million copies sold to date. Despite this, Ubisoft remains committed to enhancing the game, and the recently released patch is a significant step towards addressing many of its issues.

The latest update, Star Wars Outlaws – Title Update 2, is now available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through the official Ubisoft site. Notable changes include improvements to the game’s stealth sequences, adjustments to AI detection, modifications to NPC patrols, and enhancements to the speeder experience to address camera positioning and collision issues.

One silver lining from the Star Wars Outlaws experience is that Ubisoft seems to have learned valuable lessons from the launch. As a result, the release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been delayed to early 2025, giving developers more time to address any major bugs before launch and hopefully avoid the gameplay issues that plagued Outlaws initially.
