Overview of Vantage Point in Destiny 2: Episode Revenant
While some guns in Destiny 2’s Episode: Revenant may grab more attention, such as Exuviae and Liturgy, the adaptive frame Arc pulse rifle Vantage Point stands out as a solid choice. With the right roll, this weapon shines in PvE, especially when paired with an Arc build focused on delivering Jolt to enemies to keep them electrified while boosting your own abilities.
How To Obtain Vantage Point
Currently, Revenant weapons are obtainable by engaging in the episode’s main attraction, the wave-based Onslaught: Salvation mode. Vantage Point, along with other Revenant guns, are random drops that can be acquired after completing specific waves and earning reward chests.
Since the gear from these chests is random, there’s a chance you may receive Vantage Point or other weapons and armor instead. To increase your chances of getting the desired guns, you can utilize Revenant’s Tonics system to “attune” your rewards. Craft and use Enrichment tonics to boost the likelihood of obtaining specific drops when playing Onslaught: Salvation. For more information, refer to our Tonics guide.
Additionally, completing the Revenant Act 1 story quests can also reward you with a roll of Vantage Point.

Vantage Point synergizes well with Arc builds due to its Jolting Feedback perk, which allows you to easily apply Jolt to enemies, making it ideal for maintaining the Amplified buff when using an Arc or Prismatic subclass.
Keep Away is a valuable perk as well, providing benefits when shooting from medium to long distances. For a less Arc-focused approach, Stats for All and One For All are viable alternatives, but maximizing the use of Jolting Feedback is key to leveraging Vantage Point’s potential.
