Xbox Will Soon Let Players Stream All Their Games, Not Just Those On Game Pass – Report

Xbox Cloud Gaming Expanding to Include Non-Game Pass Titles

In a move to expand its cloud gaming offerings, Microsoft is reportedly planning to allow players to stream games that are not part of the Xbox Game Pass library, as long as they own the titles themselves.

According to The Verge, Microsoft is set to begin testing this new option with Xbox Insiders on the Xbox Cloud Gaming servers next month. This expansion comes after Microsoft has spent time upgrading the capabilities of Xbox Cloud Gaming to support a wider range of games.

Xbox recently announced that starting November, players will be able to purchase and play Xbox games on Android devices through the Xbox app. With the new streaming option, any purchases made on Android will be instantly available for streaming across different devices. This move will also allow Microsoft to bypass Google Play and retain more revenue from its sales.

As part of its future plans, Microsoft is also working on developing its own Xbox mobile store app. Initially focusing on offering deals and in-game items, this app will eventually include Microsoft’s first-party games as well.
