Blaze Entertainment Unveils New Super Pocket Handhelds
Blaze Entertainment is set to release the latest additions to its budget-friendly Super Pocket line on October 22. The Super Pocket Atari and Technos Editions are priced at $60 each and are currently available for preorder on Amazon. The Atari Edition comes preloaded with 50 classic games, while the Technos Edition offers 15 games. These handhelds are an offshoot of Blaze’s Evercade brand and feature a cartridge slot that supports over 50 retro game compilations from the Evercade cartridge series.
Super Pocket Atari Edition
The Super Pocket Atari Edition includes a variety of arcade and home console classics such as:

- Asteroids
- Berzerk
- Centipede
- Crystal Castles
- Dark Chambers
- Final Legacy
- Food Fight
- Frenzy
- Miner 2049ER
- Missile Command
- Ninja Golf
- Warbirds
- Yars Revenge
Super Pocket Technos Edition
The Super Pocket Technos Edition comes preloaded with 15 games including titles like Double Dragon, Block Out, and Crash ‘N’ The Boys: Street Challenge.
These compact handhelds feature 2.8-inch IPS displays, compatibility with existing Evercade cartridges, and a user-friendly interface for easy navigation. With support for Evercade cartridges, players have access to a diverse library of over 500 games spread across 50 cartridges, including remastered classics and modern retro games like Goodboy Galaxy.
Measuring less than 5 inches tall and under an inch thick, each Super Pocket is designed to be easily portable. The Super Pocket Capcom and Super Pocket Taito, released in 2023, have been well-received by gamers.
Upcoming Evercade Releases
Blaze Entertainment has been active in 2024, with the release of the Evercade VS-R and the upcoming Evercade EXP-R. The Evercade EXP-R will replace the EXP as the flagship handheld console and will come bundled with the Tomb Raider Collection cartridge. Additionally, the company is set to launch the Evercade Alpha, an arcade machine featuring Capcom-themed models like Street Fighter and Mega Man.
Players can preorder the Evercade Alpha at a discounted price of $230 before the launch date of November 28, after which the price will increase to $250.
