Space Marine 2 Unveils New PvE Operation and Lethal Difficulty Mode
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is making strides with its Year One post-launch roadmap, and developer Saber Interactive has provided a sneak peek at the upcoming PvE operation and Lethal Difficulty mode, set to release “very, very soon”.
Season 1 brought private PvE lobbies and a new Battle Barge sparring arena in September. Now, as Season 2 approaches, Saber has shared more details on what players can expect in Space Marine 2’s latest update.
New PvE Operation and Lethal Difficulty Mode
The new PvE operation will take players back to Kadaku to confront the Hierophant Bio-Titan, described as the “biggest and most terrifying Tyranid yet”. Additionally, Season 2 will introduce a Lethal Difficulty setting for operations mode, challenging players to test their skills against formidable Xenos and heretics. To add variety to the gameplay, a new Neo-Volkite pistol will be available in the armoury.
These updates will be included in a free patch for all Space Marine 2 players. Season Pass holders will also receive new Dark Angel themed cosmetics, such as the Weapon Skin Pack with new looks for various weapons and the Champion Pack featuring a full-body armour skin for the Bulwark class.
Upcoming Content
Space Marine 2’s Season 2 update is slated to arrive soon for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. As Year One progresses, players can look forward to more new content like additional PvE operations, new PvP maps, and a survival-based Horde Mode.
