Exciting Updates for Hades 2 with the Olympic Update!
Five months after its debut in PC early access, Hades 2 – the highly anticipated sequel to Supergiant Games’ beloved 2020 roguelike action-adventure title – has just received a substantial content update. This update brings in a plethora of new features, including a new region, weapon, and much more, with patch notes that span over 3,500 words.
The Olympic Update for Hades 2, as declared by Supergiant, introduces a brand-new region that players have been eagerly anticipating. Stepping into spoiler territory, Hades 2 players can now explore Olympus, the majestic mountain of the gods. This new region includes multiple locations, as well as additional new locations in existing areas. Alongside this, players can wield the new “otherworldly” weapon – Xinth’s Black Coat, encounter two new allies with unique Keepsakes, and discover two new Animal Familiars – Raki the Raven and Hecuba the Hound.
In addition to these exciting additions, the Olympic Update also offers players an array of new cosmetic items to customize their experience. Players can look forward to “hours” of new dialogue, with 2,500 new voice lines weaving an intricate plot as Olympus and its inhabitants step into the spotlight. Other notable enhancements include a new world map that accompanies protagonist Melinoë’s movements between regions and native support for Apple’s M1 Macs.
