Exploring Valorant’s Ranking System
Have you ever been curious about how Valorant’s ranking system operates? If so, this comprehensive guide will break down the Act rank and rank distribution for you. Let’s delve into the details.
Joining Ranked Matches
If players want to participate in ranked matches in Valorant, they must reach at least level 20. Once they meet this requirement, they will need to complete 5 placement matches to determine their initial rank. After these matches, players can begin progressing their Act Rank.
Understanding Valorant Act Rank
Similar to many other FPS games, Valorant allows players to track their performance through a ranking system. This system includes the Act Rank, which shows how well a player is doing in the current Act. At the start of each new Act, the Act Rank is reset, and players must play placement games to establish their rank. Subsequently, they can work towards improving their Act Rank by winning ranked matches.
The Act Rank also influences the rewards players receive at the end of the Act. For instance, if a player started in the Silver rank and achieved the Gold rank during the Act, they would earn Gold-tier rewards. Since the Act Rank resets regularly, players have the opportunity to earn better rewards in each new Act.
