Disable Vanguard

To remove Valorant from your system, you’ll need to first disable Riot’s anti-cheat software, Vanguard. This step is necessary before uninstalling the game completely. Here’s a simple guide on how to disable Vanguard:

  1. Open your Windows System Tray located at the bottom right-hand corner of your desktop.
  2. Locate the Vanguard icon in the System Tray and right-click on it.
  3. From the context menu, choose Exit Vanguard.
  4. A prompt will appear asking if you want to proceed. Click Yes to stop the Vanguard program on your device.

Uninstall Riot Vanguard

Once Vanguard is disabled, you can move on to uninstalling it completely from your system. Follow these steps to uninstall Riot Vanguard:

  1. Press Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
