While you can purchase various rods at the Merchant NPC’s shop, the elusive Magma Rod is not available there in Fisch. To obtain this coveted rod, you must undertake a specific activity. Here’s a detailed guide on how to get your hands on the Magma Rod.
First and foremost, you must locate yourself in the Roslit Island region. If you’re unsure of where to find Roslit Island on the map, refer to the location below.
To reach Roslit Island, sail directly from Moosewood and veer slightly to the left until you arrive at the designated location.
Once you reach Roslit Island, navigate your boat to the volcano area and seek out the green Orc named Gerald. You can find him near a campfire – simply take a right turn, follow the straight path, and at the end, veer right to encounter the Orc standing among rocks.
Upon conversing with Gerald, he will task you with locating a Puffer Fish that expands in size. In exchange for the Puffer Fish, he will reward you with the coveted Magma Rod.
