Spider-Man 2 Set to Swing to PC in January
With the upcoming first anniversary of Spider-Man 2’s release on PS5, fans have something new to look forward to – the game will be launching on PC on January 30th next year, as announced by developer Insomniac.
While specific details about platform-specific enhancements are not yet disclosed, Insomniac has assured that the PC port of Spider-Man 2 will include the base game along with all additional content released through free post-launch updates. This means PC players can enjoy the following additions:
- 14 new suits
- New Game+
- Ultimate Levels
- New Symbiote Suit Styles
- Time of Day options
- Post-Game Achievements
- Action Figure Mode in Photo Mode
- Screen Reader and Audio Descriptions
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, featuring dual protagonists Peter Parker and Miles Morales, will be available on PC in two editions. The standard edition includes all the aforementioned content, while the Digital Deluxe Edition comes with additional perks.
The Deluxe Edition offers everything in the standard version, along with ten exclusive suits – five for each protagonist. Players will also get early access to Peter’s Arachknight suit, Miles’ Shadow-Spider suit, and the Web Grabber gadget. Additionally, the Deluxe Edition grants +5 skill points and extra photo mode items. Pre-ordering the base game will also unlock the Arachknight suit, Shadow-Spider suit, Web Grabber, and +3 skill points.
Sony has not disclosed the pricing for either version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC yet, but they will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store starting January 30th next year.
If you haven’t experienced Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 yet, now is the perfect time to dive in. As Eurogamer’s Chris Tapsell noted in his four-star review, “The vibes here are ultimately just good, and simple side activities where you find basic collectibles and lob bin lids at disturbers of the peace are exactly the right accompaniment.”
